The house is exquisite and decorated for class and comfort. We like staying in the old town and this was a great location. We can understand why this Inn has received many highly rated awards! We will definitely return on our next visit to Nantucket.
Our rooms were simply beautiful. The staff of Union Street were very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and tours to take. The location of the Inn to the ferry was within walking distance which was a plus. We would stay at Union Street Inn again without any hesitation. Thank you to all.
I was given a gift certificate to this inn by my family. Although they never stayed here, they did extensive research to find the perfect inn for my and my partner's stay in Nantucket . I'm a world traveler and appreciate staying in fine accommodations. I must say, my family did it right and I couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was perfectly pointed with a comfortable king size bed. The service was also impeccable and I couldn't have felt more welcome. The breakfasts were excellent as well as the afternoon snacks and drinks. The location was perfect as well, steps away from Main Street for shopping and dining. It was also in walking distance to other fine restaurants which we took advantage of. We plan on visiting Nantucket again with another stay at Union Street Inn.
We have always enjoyed the beautiful relaxing island of Nantucket. Our unforgettable stay at The Union Street Inn made this trip "the best!" The welcoming staff were pleasant, accomadating and made you feel at home! The full breakfasts and afternoon snacks were not only delicious but served with an awesome presentation. There was a nice time span for breakfast so we were free to choose our own time.
Our flight off the Island was cancelled so fortunately they had two rooms for us. Wonderful rooms, beds, service and location was just perfect to quickly walk to everything. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and homemade evening treats were as well. Bethany and Sarah were wonderful - a really great experience, especially for weary travelers. We really appreciated it - thank you!
The greeters were almost always smiling. The workers could evoke a good bit of humor. The breakfasts were outstanding on the patio even in slight rain. When any slight problem like dripping noise was mentioned the person resolved it themselves within 4 minutes. Tea and cookies were delightful. Room was quiet with rare noise in corridor. If you don't prefer feather pillows mention in advance or drowsiness will overwhelm you. Plenty of sockets for charging and community computer helped. Hope to make it back for 45th anniversary.
