I had the best week of my life at Barntucket. It is the most charming and wonderful place for family adn friends to gather and enjoy the beautiful island of Nantcket. The owner has cared for and kept this home in the most wonderful condition and the location-easy walk to town can't be beat!!
Ten years of visits by Ken: Barntucket has a charm and a true " sense of place " that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Over the years I have appreciated the personal commitment by the owner to keep Barntucket what it has always been--the perfect place to enjoy Nantucket while providing an elegant home-like atmosphere that makes every day a stress-free experience. It is with these thoughts in mind that I find Barntucket worthy of my highest recommendation.

Just spent a week in this amazing converted carriage house. The bedrooms were comfortable and charming, the baths updated and easy to use, and the decor is pure Nantucket with all the trrimmings...every room was welcoming and well-appointed. We had friends come over to visit and the barn accommodated them beautifully, One night we had 8 sleeping and another only 4 - the layout accommodated everyone.. The wonderful gourmet kitchen was full gadgets - some we used the others we loved knowing we could if we had the inclination. We made some fabulous meals. The owner was helpful and provided lots of local information. The 10 minute walk into then center of town was taken often. Hope to return soon.
Barntucket was everything my wife and I had hoped for and than some. The place is in immaculate condition. It has such a wonderfull relaxing atmosphere. We have immediately booked the place for the next two years. You can see that the owner takes great pride in this place. We can't wait till next year.
