A lot like a nice hotel only Very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast vouchers were nice as well. Each room locked and had its own bathroom.
Centrally located. Clean rooms. The owners were nice and helpful but did not live at that location so they were not around at times. Breakfast vouchers allowed us freedom in choosing what we like.
Hawthorn House is a centrally-located 'bed and breakfast' in downtown Nantucket. B+B is in quotes since guests are given $5 breakfast vouchers to eat at one of three places, when I was there. Rooms are comfortable and good for the price (we went before the busy season) and the people who run the establishment are friendly and will go out of their way to help in some cases. All in all, an affordable and homey place to stay when in Nantucket.
Quaint inn to stay at. Helpful owners and within walking distance from the ferry, shopping, busses, dinning, and two beaches. Busses to other beaches.
Great location! Rooms were clean and perfect for a weekend getaway!
