When we arrived the music in the dining room was more on the night club side of the spectrum but our server quickly helped resolve it without a fuss. The dining room we were seated in had a great ambiance for our party of four. The raw oysters and scallops could not have been better and the follow up entree was delicious as well. Looking forward to returning in the future.

The devil is in the details at the Greydon House Nantucket. From check-in to check-out, we couldn't have had a more perfect stay. Do yourself a favor and stay in room 7 with the private entrance. From the accommodating but never obtrusive staff, to the perfect location in town, to the most thoughtfully appointed amenities in the room that ranged from a whimsical blue Bose wireless speaker, a gorgeous, hand-painted mural in the shower, heated bathroom floors and a mirror that didn't fog up while you showered, plush and absorbent robes and towels, big aesop and malin & goetz bath products (with pumps!), a T3 hairdryer, to ursa major face wipes for the ladies to remove their makeup. Even the crystal glassware with the beautiful coasters that looked like they were made of spun gold. I never wanted to get out of the perfect and cozy bed each morning. The color scheme and furniture appointments made it feel like a true escape.
We had two perfect meals at the restaurant. Our dinner was impeccable. Delicious, well-balanced cocktails. Thoughtful and delicious wine list. And our food- it was one of the most perfect meals I've ever had. Our table was so cozy and our server was awesome- attentive without going overboard.
Very chic. Cozy and warm at same time. Food was local and fit the area. Price was above average. But worth it.
Bartender treated us like we didn’t belong when we walked in. 2nd out of 2 times we’ve been in there, and apparently $120 for 4 drinks didn’t impress him. I’ve heard the rest of the hotel is fabulous and well-kept. The staff is very accommodating. In addition, the interior of the bar is warm and reminded us of an old speakeasy; however, the bartender sneered at us each time we walked in (same man surprisingly as in July), as if we aren’t Ben Stiller or Lady Gaga here for the Film Festival. Apparently our money (or credit cards) isn’t green (or black) enough for his taste. I can very much afford to stay here, let alone buy a drink at the bar. Note to staff: tell the bartender to change his attitude, or hire someone else to pour me a whiskey neat.
