The hotel is lovely, the staff is wonderful. We were contacted before our arrival to help with dinner and or other arrangements during our stay. We were warmly greeted on arrival and all of the staff have been extremely helpful, friendly and caring. Breakfasts are perfect. Coffee is phenomenal (sorry Starbucks - you have been replaced by Jim's). This is the perfect place to escape to for needed pampering and relaxation.
If you stay in Nantucket, do yourself a favor and stay at the Nantucket Hotel.
My now-wife and I elected to elope on the island and wanted a nice place to stay. The property far exceeded all expectations. The property was immaculate, the amenities (complimentary breakfast, gym, pool) were top in class, but the service was what stood out the most.
We stayed here on our honeymoon in Nantucket, and had an incredible experience. The hotel staff were extremely nice and even gave us a free room upgrade since it was our honeymoon! The customer service was impeccable: Greg Knapp, guest services manager, took great care of us from check-in to check-out, and even offered us use of the hotel's courtesy car to drive to Sconset on our last day. Our room (the Spinnaker Suite) was large, clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the town and the water. Location was perfect (walkable to pretty much everywhere in town). Game room downstairs was fun when the weather didn't cooperate. One of the best hotel experiences we've had; We'll definitely be returning here.
Our wedding party was only three but Nantucket treated us like we sold out the place. From the welcome gift in the room to driving us to the beach in their fire truck, they treated us amazingly. And we know there was another wedding party at the property so it wasn't because they had nothing else to do.
Tasteful, warm and friendly. Cheers to Jamie Holmes and his dedicated and professional staff for making our stay a most welcoming and special experience. A most inviting environment. They have already contemplated your every need.
Posh. When expense doesn't matter go here. Major birthday or anniversary recommended.
