Renting a home can be more economical when visiting a destination for more than a few days, particularly if you are traveling with friends or family.
In Nantucket my favorite place to rent is the village of Nashaquisset, a short distance from the heart of town. I have rented here for the last 10 years and absolutely love it. We go back every September. The privately owned homes vary from two to five bedrooms and feature an open, airy design. All have fireplaces, many have sun porches. Nestled in winding streets and separated by crushed white shell paths and rose covered picket fences, the homes are beautifully decorated and landscaped. Each has a patio surrounded by a lush garden. Many have decks and all have outdoor showers. The complex features an Olympic size pool and surrounding deck and tennis courts.
Perfect for families. Walking distance to town. Bike riding to the beach. The houses are quaint and charming with all modern amenities. Big plus are the tennis courts and pool. After the beach our kids love to rinse off in the outdoor shower and swim in the pool. Early dinner and bed for the kids- ahhhh - it's adult time! Love Nantucket, love Nashaquisset!
A very special place, quiet, well located - easy access to town and beaches. A wonderful place for families to experience Nantucket. We loved our home, it was very functional and well appointed.
We've been coming to Nashaquisset for years, and have always had good luck with our rentals. Nice to have tennis courts and a swimming pool available, and it's an easy walk to town. In the few times when we have needed help, Suzanne has been great. Highly recommended!
Wonderful community. Gorgeous neighborhood and well-maintained homes. Many homes can be rented, mostly during the summer season. The community has a swimming pool and Har-Tru tennis courts.
