Review is for stopping in for breakfast. At first glance this place has all the hallmarks of a rip-off restaurant in a high tourist area. I grabbed a steak, egg and cheese on an English muffin. For $9 I was pleasantly surprised that the sandwich was huge and the E.M. was grilled. For two of us breakfast came to just over $30 for two breakfast sandwiches, a hash brown side and two waters.
The owner was great to see, She is a people person, the staff are friendly and professional service.
Easy Street Cafe has hands down the best New England Clam Chowder I've ever had. Wish I knew the recipe. A bowl of that and their falafel wrap is my regular meal here. They've also got a good lunch buffet.
Don't expect to find the best Mexican food on Nantucket but it did the job at 10pm after a long day. This place is right near the ferry landing but at night that side of town is very dark and quiet but it's only a quick walk from the harbor. The nachos were very large and had lots of toppings. The taco was tasty enough and did the job. Lots of seating inside and outside and nice decor. A bit expensive but nothing out of the norm for a New England seasonal destination.
