Do not fly with the shuttle. Their motto seems to be "If you are not flying the shuttle, ask your self why" Well, I know why I'm not. The person at the ticket counter was snotty and rude, as if to be saying "I'm getting paid for this, what the hell do you want" without saying it. Do yourself a favor: Ask your self "If I'm not flying Cape Air, then I should be."
I've flown Nantucket Shuttle from its inception and have always had positive experiences. The staff and pilots are friendly and have made an effort to get to know me because I am a relative regular. You also can't beat the price.
