A hidden gem. A great beach for kids: shallow water and fun. It's on the Nantucket Sound side of the island, so it's more sheltered than Surfside or Cisco.
This beach was a bit of a disappointment. I had read there were tidal pools which I was hoping to let my kids wade in but could not find any. The sandbars were nice if you could make it out to them but you really need water shoes to do so. My friend actually cut her leg on the sharp seabed which runs all along the shore. I prefer jetties beach for small children, but if you are looking for something smaller and more secluded try this one.
