Jetties is about a 25 min walk from the ferry terminal. The Wave (bus system) goes there as well.
We walked all the way to the left where the dunes begin. It's great for privacy but beware it's more buggy than the open beach by the lifeguard stand.
Really enjoyed this beach. There's a sand bar 150 ft off the beach which you can swim out to at low tide. Good family beach; little to no waves. There's a restaurant and beach equipment rental area at the parking lot as well as restrooms and a place to rinse off. We rented an umbrella for $10.
